Just a few months ago it didn’t even cross my mind that we would be fighting a global pandemic 🦠 It’s been almost 10 weeks since the social distancing and quarantine measures were imposed in the UK and I know most of us are struggling to stay sane, entertained and occupied.
Let's face it, life is busy! Between work and life responsibilities, the days pass us by in the blink of an eye. It’s way too easy to let the hours, days, and weeks fly by without doing anything constructive, so I decided to use the time to my advantage.
My childcare is being taken care of for now, as my husband was furloughed back in March and able to look after our little boy. The change of roles in our household gave me an excellent opportunity to spend more time working without feeling guilty about it... and this had made a huge difference to my work-life balance. Just like that, I was able to accept more work and new clients as well as finally put some time aside to work on my own brand!
But most importantly, with all the free time all of us now have, we are able to spend more quality time as a family and create an even stronger family bond. A family is the biggest asset that one could ask for, so I urge you all to do the same and use the gift of time to make unforgettable memories together with your families, because after all, not even money can buy us more time...
