2020, a year to forget or a year to remember...?

Updated: Jan 12, 2021

As we look to the end of the year, I reflect on what has been an extraordinary year. Most of us have never experienced anything like it in our lifetime. I for one didn’t even come close to anything like this before.

The world has changed as we know it... Everything changed! Interactions and experiences of all fronts, both personal and professional now have a different dynamic. But even from the most challenging times comes hope, learning, and gratitude.

During the Covid 19 pandemic, I have developed resilience and a belief, that the goodwill always out, eventually. I stopped fighting the storm instead, I focussed on the positives and decided to wait for it to pass... Since then, I’ve attracted many positive outcomes for which (as always), I am very grateful.

2020 has been a busy one for me, but I think all of the working mums out there agree when I say that our lives become extremely fast-paced after entering motherhood... My 2-year-old boy is certainly keeping me on my toes, especially that he’s (still) not a great sleeper and keeps me up most of the nights.

Life does not always turn the way we expected it or planned it. But, I would not change mine for the world! I am exactly where I want to be...

The key learning for me this year, is that we should stop taking things for granted and remember to be kinder to ourselves and each other. Cherish life and the time we have with our loved ones, make memories and be grateful for what we have and for all that we are...

And as we are coming to the end of 2020, things are looking up. So, I am wishing you beautiful moments, treasured memories, and all the blessings a heart can know🖤
